My new wardrobe

Seronok, finally berjaya mengumpul sedikit duit for my new wardrobe by Signatur3Kitchen. Panjang 10 kaki, and tinggi sampei ceiling.

mari kita menanam rumput

disebabkan stress bila tgk laman yg gondol, so kitorg decide nak buat lawatan sambil belajar ke nurseri sg buloh... the one yg dekat ngan spital tu.... rambang mata tgk nurseri yg mcm cendawan tumbuh.... last last kitrg naik bukit kat kubo cina, tgk cemana diorg semai rumput

ni pakcik indon tu kata rumput taiwan.. cantik giler.. tapi maintenance pun giler gak.. kena rajin trim.. atau dgn kata lain kena upah tukang kebun....

ni rumput philippines.... tgh semai... mmg dah siap dlm plastik 2x1.. kalau nak tanam, terus dia angkat sekali ngan plastik tu terus gi tanam...

masalah kitrg, tanah gondol tu penuh ngan batu bata, simen, paku, skru... atau dgn kata lain, kena buat upacara mengorek tanah, buang segala bendasing tu...tanah tu kena dibajak dulu.. pas tu kena letak tanah baru, pasir,... pas tu baru boleh tanam itu lumput... and nak buat sume tu.. $$ mesti ada.. kurang2 paling bodo pun kena ada 5-6 ratus utk tu.. belum campur rega rumput lagi... kalo rumput lebey kurang 3 ratus... itu belum masuk nak tanam pokok ke.. bunga ke... lagi stresssss...

Sri Utam@

• Rumahku masih cam tu gak... i keep it plain and simple (cakap org tak de duit...) landscape kat depan masih tak buat lagi... gondol jer... konon nak upah kam-lam-ya-nga tanam rumput but somehow the budget for that gone for other things.. mencik aaa...
• My bedroom is like bilik rumah kongsi coz i've returned my newly purchased bedroom set... panjang alkisahnya... in short, i bought the set from H***Life, but the quality sucks big time... sana longgar sini cabut.. bunyi sana sini.. nak kata kitrg ni ganas, tak jugak... pas gaduh2 sikit, and i email here and there... saja nak bagi gempak kan.. and finally they agreed to refund... sib baik ok, tak sempat nak cakap 'i'll see u in court'.. hehehehe...

Kids

• Irfan has just started his Quran class early August ari tu... I found a sekolah mengaji called Rehal in Section 4, KD... tak jauh, about 5 mins drive from my house.. and luckily, my neighbor pun nak hantar their only 8- yr old son.. so we take turn to send the kids... it's a 5 day session.. every session 1/2 hour and it's one to one basis.... basically, 3 hari ngaji, and lagi 2 hari belajar fardhu ain...
• Ilhan will be celebrating his 3rd birthday in a week time... i dont plan anything big for him .. may be a small private party.. just 5 of us....
• Izzad also will be celebrating his birthday in a week time... his 1st birthday.... only 2 day earlier than Ilhan's... Izzad has started walking.. tapi masih takut takut... last week i brought him to clinic at KD...he was down with flu... that that was our first time to the clinic as we have just moved to the area... as i mentioned in my previous entry, Izzad is a big boy... he is 11 mths but he has weight and height of a 2 yr old toddler.... when the doctor first saw Izzad, he thought that i had wrongly written Izzad's birthday... heheheh.. kesian Izzad.... he is such a baby yg besau.....
  

Personal

• Our financial is very tight this month... It's time for us to renew our maid's working permit, medical, etc.. and everything cost us rm850.. aduhh..Nampaknya tertangguh lagi nak buat landscape cantik cantik kat depan rumah
• My husband got an offer... a good offer indeed... he was offered to do his CFA... fully sponsored, 3 yrs paid study leave.. plus study allowance... heheh.. but at the same time, i had another thought... 2nd thought actually.. yup, i'm happy.. but the thought of him going back to college/uni to study.. and dikelilingi awek awek muda yng cun lagi jelita.... hmmm... jeles akak.... oh tidakkkkkkk.... akak memang cemburu....
• Since he got to do his CFA first, nampak gayanya my plan for MBA tertangguh lagi la... perhaps in another 3 yrs i guess....
  

Work Related

• My colleague will be leaving our unit, and he'll be heading a new branch in Johor.... got replacement for him, but the new guy has been stolen by another unit coz they are short of staff.. i hope they will return back the staff back to my unit once the my colleague pindah... jangan buat harta sudah...
• I'm going to Taiwan for a course during the fasting mth for a week.... seksa batinku.... pegi bulan puasa.... sungguh tak sesuai... sib baik course tu best...

Pindah rumah

perkara baru yg berlaku.. things.. and thoughts as well:

1. Just moved to Sri Utama last weeks.... the pindah randah was sort of last minute thingy because I have to get my apartment empty because nanti pengantin baru nak tinggal situ... my newly wedded brother and his bride Kamila will be occupying that little house of mine.. kinda sad to leave the house since i've been staying there for the past 7 yrs... we love the apartment so much and decided to buy it from the owner after renting for about 4 yrs... My kids love the house, they grew up in the house... Irfan used to call it "rumah tinggi" and whenever he talked about the house, he will always mention 'rumah tinggi'.... well, it's not that tinggi.. it's a 5 storey apartment...luckily, we stayed in ground floor... and the location is in the middle of KL..and situated just next to mrr2..basically, kalau nak gi mana pun senang.. to klcc it is just about 15 min (off-peak hour), to Mines about 1/2 hour and to JJ maluri, its about 5-10 mins... 'rumah tinggi' has got a very nice view... 50 meters from my balcony is the pandan perdana lake...permandangannya sgt menyejukkan hati... esp early in the morning... and also waktu senja...

2. About Seri Utama....there's a new name for the house.. Irfan and hadzeem call it 'rumah baru' and apparently Hadzeem loves it so much, whereas Irfan cam so-so jer... i dunno whether he likes the house or not.. kalau tanya, dia cakap..'ok lah...' ......a day after me moved in, terus balik kampung to attend my bro's wedding.. so tak sempat kemas... and semua barang dlm kotak... and sampai hari ni barang sume masih dlm kotak.. we dont have time to kemaskan... even spender pun carik dlm kotak... hehehehe.... at first when i packed the baju and stuff into the boxes, i got all the boxes labelled such as 'baju, toys, books, dry food....etc..' and i thought i was smart... and i thought it's a brilliant ideas to label the boxes....of course it is, but when i have 7 boxes of 'baju'.. then i start to garu kepala... and even worst when my husband want a particular shirt, (a dark red shirt that he bought at the JJ)... how am i gonna search for the shirt?? 7 boxes labelled 'baju'... where to start??? and which box to open first? heheheh...

3. the house macam tongkang pecah.. most of the things are still in the box... and cuma buka mana nak guna jer.. and the curtains dah siap tempah a week ago tapi tak de masa nak hook, so i just took an old curtains and sangkutkan dekat grill.... .. hahahah.. when my mother came, dia kata from the outside nampak cam rumah kongsi bangla.... heheheh...

4. do you know.. that sometimes..... when you are in new places or... building.. you have this eerie and seram feelings.... like meremang bulu roma... and you feel like someone's watching you... when i first moved to the newhouse .... rasa semacam jer.. as if there's someone else in the house... and baby Izzad keep on clutching on me, tak nak duduk bawah... and he held me tight.. and masa tu dah tak sedap hati... mlm tu about 3 o'clock he started to to cry non-stop about 10 mins... lepas dia ok, i put him to sleep, and then placed him next to me.. dah tak letak dlm baby court lagi, sbb nampak dia cam takut jer... and the next morning when i woke up...and got down to the kitchen... and my maid asked me "ibu ada ketuk pintu bilik saya pukul 3 pagi tak?"... haaaa.... dah mula dah.. ada yg kacau.. she told me the room was knocked twice... 3 knock at a time... she didn't open the door and she waited... after about 10 mins.. she opened the door tapi tak de sapa.... she said that she knew that was 'someone else' coz if i were to knock the door, i would have call her name... and i never knock her door at such odd hour... and kebetulan dlm masa yg sama pun, around 3 am baby izzad menangis....

5. then we packed our things and headed to pt buntar.... and masa kat kg my hubby went to see this ustaz, and told him about our house.. so the ustaz asked the house address.... somehow through my hubby, the ustaz could actually 'see'...(dia pegang my husband and asked my hubby to imagine.. house from the porch.. hall, kitchen, all the rooms and bathrooms, ) and then later...amat menyeramkan bila ustaz kata rumah tu mmg ada penghuni...ada '2 orang' lagi... hahahha... gila takuttt... so dia kata penghuni tu ada sbb rumah tu rumah kosong.... so dia suruh buat pendinding.. dia bagi air, and suruh carik limau.. buat 'pagar' baca bismillah, selawat, kursi and fatihah for 7 nights berturut.. buat after Isyak...

6. bila we got back to KL.. my parents pun datang sama.. so kuat sikit semangat.... my father pun tolong buat baca Yasin 3 malam.. and he also tolong buat pendinding rumah... and masa before my father nak balik ke kg, he told me that the 1st night he came, when he baca the Yasin, dia rasa seram sejuk and he heard macam ada bunyi plastik kena atiup angin dlm bilik padahal tak de apa pun.... tapi pas tu dah ok... and now pun dah ok.. Alhamdulillah....

7. last weekend mmg ramai giler org kat rumah.. some sort of family gathering.... my parents, my bros and sis, newly wedded bro and his wife, my sis-in law with 4 kids (all the way from K'Kinabalu).. mmg meriah rumah.. makan makan tak ingat dunia... sampai tgh malam pun makan lagi... masa all the guest sampai, my house was such in total mess... and diorg sume lah yg tolong pasangkan curtains, and kemaskan kotak.. and my sis in law kena letak bedsheet dlm guest room sendiri.. and even kena pasang curtain guest room sendiri...my mum banyak tolong in the kitchen, kemaskan barang and tolong susun nicely dlm kitchen cabinet.... nasib baik sume paham coz we just move in... glad that they came and lend their hand, so my house tu dah ada le rupa rumah sikit...

8. i just had 1 air-cond installed in the my bedroom.... we plan to have at least 2 room installed with the air-cond, but seriously no fulus at the moment so we thought 1 is enough...ok la... tapi yg kelakarnya when my parents came to my house... my father (after the minor heart surgery) last 3 yrs, he couldnt stand the heat.. so kalau nak tidur mesti kena dlm aircond..... semua org nak air-cond...and kesimpulannya we beramai-ramai crammed in the room...hehe.. meriah sungguh the whole family tidur in the same room.... best giler... altogether 9 orang tidur in the same room....

9. Lepas pindah rumah.... now my hubby and I are officially broke!!!! I have duploh inggit in the account... oh tidakkkkk!!! yes, i'm totally kempis and started to look for duit selit... heheh.. duit selit is the duit yg sometimes diselit-selitkan di tepi purse, dlm compartment handbag, or dlm drawer... or sometimes dlm bra (ada lagi ke org buat cam ni?)... heheheh.. i found rm50 in the drawer.. tu pun dah hepi giler.... so rm50 can survive for few days i guess...

Seri Utama lagi

Semlm after work, sempat gi visit Seri Utama. Nampaknya so far so good, the contractor we have chosen is very realiable and fast.. and work on schedule... at first we were undecided between D*cor Reno or A H*mes Reno... but then chose the latter coz we feel that he's an easy man to talk to.. and he is such a simple man, no sweet promises and all can do one.... for this kind of renovation/wiring/ job definitely we will choose a 'ca ya nun alif'... as they are more reliable and deliver good job... kalau melayu, cakap pandai, kerja cincai....(not applicable to all melayu, of course....)

and again.. we were approached by another 'kap lam ya nga' for tanam rumput.. again.. and this time, the man is so drunk... it is so obvious that he's like swinging here and there.. it's kinda funny to see him trying hard to talk about rumput and at the same time tried to balance off his body.. hahhaha..

bila pikir pikir balik yg approached us about rumput / gardening will always be that 'kap lam ya nga'...so far we have 3 already.. and 1 recommended by the guard also bangsa yang sama... are they meant to be good in tanam menanam??.. atau pun in other words ditakdirkan begitu??.. or they just love gardening and share similar passion with each other.... or historically sejak azali lagi they mmg suka kerja cam i.. as you know.. when British ruled our country, they have this dasar 'pecah dan perintah'.. and they have separated all the three major races into different 'specialty'... and the 'kap lam ya nga' more into the kerja tanam menanam getah.... may be its their root of life... hmm.... apa lah yg aku merepek ni....

whatever it is.. it's a big NO for that drunk man....

we have met our neighbour depan rumah... a malay couple... btw, all Seri Utama phase 4 are Bumi lot.. so we will be surrounded with Malay people la... our neigbour depan rumah seem nice... and friendly...they'll be moving in June.... and we also meet our neigbour selang 4 rumah from our house... an older couple with 4 kids.. and they seem very very nice and very humble person... nampak cam kaya.. but very down to earth... good.. good.. i can't tolerate errogant people... which reminds me of one incident....

begini ceritanya.... that day.. a couple of months ago.... we were looking for a contractor to do the renovation works....so this Apek wanted to impress us so he brought us along to his show houses... about 3 houses.. and coming along with us was this Malay couple with Satria... when we were talking with the Apek, they were inside the car.... and when they came out, i saw the girl.. she looked so familiar.... baru teringat she was ex ADP2.. same batch with me...so my husband being friendly, greeted the couple and shaked hand with the hubby la....and follow the tradition, I approached the girl nak salam but she WALKED AWAY!!! I was stunned... dia buat as if she didnt see me coming towards her and totally avoid eye contact with me.. dasar melayu lupa diri... so when we were in the show house, this couple nampak cam nak avoiding us,... they kept on 'running' here and there... and they avoid 'eye contact' with us....

that girl used to wore a tudung before.. and when i met here, she was a 'new person'..... and she transformed herself into a 'M'sian new artis' (u know the typical dressing style...) and i guess the Uncle Sam has changed her kot... and may be dia risau kot kot i would recognize her... of course i recognize her and her 'nose'... hahahah... in case you read this Nong, - bak kata Ellisa - hidung dia tetap menjadi pujaan!!!!! hahahaha....

May and June 07

Let's see what I have in May and June....

• 01-02 - Public Holiday... I am thinking nak cari bahan nak gubah hantaran Abg Cik as I am his unofficial penggubah hantaran... I have not decided on the color-theme yet.. probably green-silver or green-beige... or susah-susah.. i buat shocking pink + green + purple + orange.... colorful macam citrawarna m'sia....meriah gitu....

• 08-09 - Got a Br@anding Seminar.. this is a must attend seminar since my co. dengan murah hatinya nak bayar rm7k for me and my boss to attend... tengkiu... tengkiu...

• 11-17 - will be going to HK for a trade fair.... just got to know about this last 2 days.. and there's lot of arrangement to be done esp for my kids.. sapa nak jaga... and when to send them to kg... and when to pick them up.. and the cost of hantar-balik and ambil-balik.... coz each return trip to my kampung will cost me about rm200... so 2 kali will be rm400... and nanti nak balik wedding my brother end of the month wil be another rm200... and the flight ticket to Kelate for his wedding on the girl's side is another rm900.... so.... travel expenses for May alone roughly is rm1500++ ..... pokai... pokai.... aduhhhhh....

• 18-19 - plan to move to Seri Utama.. but since around that time i'll be returning from HK, then kena balik kg to pick up all my 3 boys....so gone the weekend...

• 25-27 - heading for Kelate for Abg Cik's akad nikah and wedding...

• 31May - 05 June - balik kg for Abg Cik's wedding....
  

so the question is: bila nak pindah?? I have to get the house empty a.s.a.p. because Abg Cik will be moving into the house with his bride.... *pening*

Seri Utama - updates

• as at last week, the developer has not fully repair all the defects.. which dissapoint us so much. All what we can see from the eyes of non-expert, is that they got all the cracked tiles in the kitchen replaced, tu jer....they have not yet started to repair other things...

• on the other hand.. let's look on the positive side.. my contractor has started working on the wet kitchen. And he has the grille done cuma belum pasang lagi.... the built-in kitchen cab pun dah siap, pun belum pasang.. all waiting for the defects to be repaired....

• we want to get the house painted but the labor fees is like quadraple the cost of the paint itself.. then, we were thinking of painting the house ourselves cuma tak tau la bila ada masa... and i never painted a house before...well, i've done some painting in school years, but to paint a house...MY house pulak tu.....hmmm...

• we almost got conned and cheated BIG TIME by a 'kap lam ya nga' last 2 weeks.... well, he came to our seri utama, and offered us that he can tanam the rumput cantik philipp1nes for our little garden both front and backyard for rm500.... at that point, i think that's damned cheap, because previously another 'kap lam ya nga' wanted rm700 for that.... so we say yes.... then he took down our mobile number and he said he will get the job done first, then we pay.. so again, I think.. this is good... since i don't want to commit any payment sampai nampak hasilnya.. then he left, and suddenly the security guard and another older man approached us... they warned us not to trust that 'kap lam ya nga' coz ramai yg kena tipu... i was puzzled at that time coz as promised by that guy, we only pay when the job is done, so how will someone or others got cheated?? the guard told us that the quality keje is not as promised, it may turn ok at first though (well, first impression is important huh??).. huh.. selamat duit aku....

• someone really stupid and damned stupid has used the toilet in my masterbedroom... well, he's not just 'using' it.. but he has left his 'treasures' in the toilet bowl... just imagine.. there is no water yet.. and the smell... is............... is.........is so........ tak boleh nak describe.... damn!!

• our rich neigbour ( i assume he is...) decided to rent out the house... so he has got the house renovated..... at first i thought he will just install all the basic things like grille, add plug points, etc... but it turned out that he has renovated the house as if he wanted to live in the house!!! His contractor told us that that is his 4th or 5th house... and that's why i think he is damned rich... and for us to buy A house is like dah separuh nafas.... and the Apek cakap dia buat cantik-cantik coz he wanted to rent the house for rm1400... huh????? so another conclusion, the tenant-to-be is also rich.... (errrr.... ada ke orang nak sewa rumah bayar mahal.. might as well they got their own house right???)

Seri Utama, Izzad and Izani

updates on few things:

- Seri Utama is finally ours... baru dapat kunci last week.. so appoinment has been set with developer to check defects whatsoever and maybe the earliest by May dapat masuk rumah baru kot...

- we are now still checking on the quotation from contractors.. no major renovations for the house, but to install grille, kitchen cab and do some wiring... cash is very limited, so perhaps do the necessary things first.. hopefully bila dah ada pitis nak tambah apa yg patut kot...

- Izzad is now 6 mths old.. but look like 1 yr old due to the American genes size inherited from his parents.. dah boleh angkat badan and sooner i think would be crawling all over the house like a giant baby spider....

- Abg Cik my bro just got engaged last week, so he's no more available...so Congrats Cik and Kamila!!.. can't wait for your big day this coming May... pas ni mu kene kecek kelate la ye..... kena belajar make akok, tahi itik, jala mahhs, putri mandi.... gud luck to u!
