An Old Friend of Mine

Met and had lunch with Famil last Thursday at the Vietnamese restaurant in KLCC.

He's an old friend of mine.. well, he's not that old.. :) but I've known him for quite sometimes during our PPP time, but back in PPP, we were not that close... we became closer in Bloomington.

He is the type of friend who you could rely on.... He is the type who will lend his hand whenever you need him to... He wouldn't mind to spend the whole night.. (yes, i mean the whole night.. like from 9pm-4am) in the very cold and freezing computer lab just to help me finished my html assignment... and whenever i've completed my html assignment, i would asked him to 'review' my work.. and normally he would put his 'final touch' on the assignment which definitely gave me an extra 'creative mark' from the professor.... and the best part was that sometimes he went extra length like.. errrr... doing the whole html thingy for me.... yes, i admit.. i become really 'unintelligent' (unintelligent sound better than stupid i guess) when it comes to this html thingy, i couldnt ever got it right...

And he was the one to introduce me to the world of having my own website.... 10 years back, geocities was very popular and i got my website parked on Vienna but now it's gone... and again, he had gone extra mile but helping me to register my website and he was the first one who signed my guestbook (and i remember that he was so proud of it).. heheheh....

When I was in Bloomington, my boyfriend (currently my beloved hubby) was in Arkansas and u know that sometimes the long-distance relationship... (yup.. i would call it long distance since we were 13 hour-drive apart from each other...) was a bit..errr.. difficult i would say... in terms of 'trust'... whenever i go out with someone.. say a male friend... my boyfriend would be a bit jealous i guess... but he didnt really show or tell me that he's jealous but i could tell from the tone of his voice.... but believe me.. Famil has never got him jealous...

So Famil... thanks for being such a good friend.. and jasamu dikenang....and i guess Aimi would definitely agree with me.

I totally forgotten about the lab thingy, but dont worry hun, you're not the only one that made me spend many sleepless nite at the lab!

crazy kan, masa muda muda dulu. burnt the midnite oil, walking 1 km back home in winter, survived on cheese pizza and breadsticks.. sigh...

its hard to go back there. no malaysian left (no free accommodations), and there's no direct flight to even chicago. $$$ *sigh*
